Premiered for the 2022 holiday season, this movie is a part of the network’s Great American Christmas programming. Directed by Paula Elle from the screenplay by Hayley Carr, the film stars Jen Lilley and Jesse Hutch in the lead roles.
The movie plots the story of a luxury travel blogger Tracey Wise (Lilley), who is invited by owner Graham Cooper (Hutch) to a Christmas gateway for her review of his family’s small bed & breakfast called “Silver Peak.”
The Christmas movie’s biggest concern is a hotel resort opened a hilltop away and has been stealing customers for several years, threatening the survival of the small family business. Despite her reservations, she accepts the invitation from the outdated Silver Peak.
B&B Merry Was Filmed Across Kelowna And British Columbia
B&B Merry was filmed in Canada, specifically in Kelowna and British Columbia. B&B Merry portrays the story of a travel blogger.
In a short video posted by Great American Family, lead actors Jen and Jesse briefly discussed the beauty of their filming location. The actress said, “Right now, we are filming in Kelowna, and It’s so fun. Well, British Columbia.”
She added, “As a travel blogger, my character would give Kelowna 5 stars out of 5.” Hutch smiled and said, “That’s a lot of stars.” “It’s wonderful,” Jen added. She praised the set and called it “The world’s most beautiful setting.”
The crew competed in the Great American Dance Wars, GAC’s friendly dance competition between the network’s movie stars. Jesse and Jen praised the scenes’ beauty and were pleased with the overall set-up.
The actors continued to share about all the Christmassy vibes, decorations, bonfires, beautiful Christmas trees, and twinkling lights. Jesse said, “It just feels like this is Christmas!” They were on the sets of Silver Peak, which Graham’s family owned for generations.
Winter in Kelowna is lovely. It offers snow-dusted mountains, mild weather to celebrate winter, and various fun events to attend. Kelowna is magical during the holidays and a perfect location for films like this.

Lilley as Tracey (travel blogger)
Lilley’s character, Tracey, is a travel blogger. She is invited to a Christmastime getaway in a small town, B&B, in exchange for a review.
Jen is an American actress and singer known for playing a supporting role in The Artist (2011). She temporarily portrayed Maxie Jones on the popular ABC opera General Hospital from September 2011 until August 2012.
Besides being an actress, Lilley is also a singer. In 2014, she traveled to Georgia, where she sang and hosted a benefit concert with SOWEGA Art Performance. The program raised funds for ONEless Ministries. Her first Christmas album, “Tinsel Time,” came on November 24, 2015.
Hutch as Graham
Hutch plays the character of Graham, the owner of the bed and breakfast that Tracey is invited to. The actor Canadian-born American actor looks equally impressive in the film’s preview, and fans are pleased by his remarkable performance.
Jesse is notable for his appearance as Jimmy Riley on the television show American Dreams. In 2007, he earned a significant role on the Sci-Fi Channel TV movie Termination Point. He also had a recurring role in Season 2 of Arrow and Batwoman.
Growing up in various places across Canada, Jesse studied in an Outdoor Program at Algonquin College. He spent his early four years as a water raft guide before beginning to pursue an acting career. He first played character roles in productions such as Smallville and Taken.
