Kwame Love Is Blind family include his parents and two siblings. Kwame Appiah’s brother Jerry is a data analyst and sister Barbara is a medical professional.
Appiah, a Sales Development Manager, is well-known for being one of the 30 participants in Netflix’s Love Is Blind, a dating reality series created by Chris Coelen and produced by Kinetic Content.
The show returned for its fourth season on March 24, 2023. It follows a social experiment where 30 single men and women look for a partner and get engaged before meeting in person.
All participants come from the same metropolitan area, hoping to find their special one. Initially, the singletons are paired in a speed-dating format, but can later choose to have longer dates.
The daters can extend a marriage proposal when they feel ready. A couple meets in person only after a marriage proposal is accepted.
The engaged pair then go on a couple’s retreat at a resort. Following the retreat, they move to the same apartment and meet their partner’s families, and friends, and learn more about their lives.
They plan for their wedding to be held at the end of week four. At the altar, each single decide whether or not to say ‘I do.”

But troubles knocked on their doors as they got ready to move in together in the seventh episode. Notably, the two met each other’s family before taking the big step.
Ahead of their wedding, Griffin introduced her husband-to-be to her father. And while her dad accepted her fiance without hesitation, Appiah’s mom was not thrilled with his decision.
Griffin didn’t get a chance to meet her fiance’s mother but he told her that his traditional Ghanaian mother wouldn’t approve of such a nontraditional marriage.
Their nightmares came true when Appiah called his mom and talked about getting married to Chelsea. She clearly showed her disappointment and said she wouldn’t be supporting the union.
Things didn’t go as planned and he later admitted to his partner that his mom is a massive part of his life.
